Caregivers

For those that have worked with the aged and disabled, the reality of the caregiver’s life is illuminated. Caring for another, particularly for those that lack the resources for sufficient respite, can lead to sadness, resentment, anger or poor health. While the caregiver’s intentions are often honorable, they tend to put aside their own needs, can become isolated, and convince themselves that nothing can be done about it.

Caregiver Coaching can be a vital way to bring about the change that is needed. With a coach there to listen and encourage the development of a life that meets the caregiver’s needs, a daily plan and life goals can be reached and the client may find hope and happiness while also giving to their loved one.
